I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect aggregate statistics about page visits, referrers, country, device, browser and page performance. I use these only to improve this site.

Cloudflare processes this information for me. Its script does not use cookies or browser storage. It receives an IP address with the web request, discards it at the nearest data centre and does not store it in its analytics logs. Unsampled data is kept for 7 days, then aggregated. I can view the aggregate results for up to 6 months.

My lawful basis is legitimate interests in running and improving this site.

My hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. I rely on legitimate interests in operating it. The provider keeps this data only as needed to run and secure its service.

If you email me, I use your address and message to reply or discuss working together. I rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, or my legitimate interest in replying. My email provider processes those messages, and I keep them only while needed for our conversation and any legal or accounting records.

These providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area under an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. You can ask me for details through the contact section.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to it or receive a portable copy where that right applies.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority.
